What personal information we collect
We collect information through 3 different methods. They are the general Contact Form via WordPress plugin, Podcast Gumbo Newsletter Contact Form via Mailchimp and Google Analytics via WordPress plugin.
The general Contact Form requires a few required fields, including Your Name, Your Email address and Your Message. It does not collect any other information. That information is emailed to us and is not kept in any 1st or 3rd party database.
The Podcast Gumbo Newsletter Contact form uses Mailchimp’s services. It does not require your first name. It only requires an email address via a single opt-in signup. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
Viewing pages on the website is tracked via Google Analytics. When you visit the website, the server logs your IP address (from which we can infer your location), information about your browser and operating system, and a record of which pages you visited, when, and for how long.
If you would like your information to be erased, please contact us and we will delete your data. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on the site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor has visited the other website. Our site also include social media buttons and links, which can send personal information to the sites in question if you click or tap them.
Who we share your data with
We do not share or sell your data with any 3rd party service.
